Meghan Murgatroyd is an exceptional artist, who enjoys exploring the feminine relationship with sex, love and self-image.
As a Mother of two daughters her journey in self love and body positivity blossomed from a desire to provide them with a female role model comfortable in her own skin. As she began exploring her own body through art she became fascinated with the complexity of being a woman.
Taking to Instagram with her work, she realised how poorly the spectrum of humanity is represented. Meg thereby fell in love with the representation of unique bodies and unique stories. Her work is varied and exciting; her subtle colour pallet unites her work, yet each piece is fiercely independent. Meg's aim is to use her simple, minimal design in order to represent a diverse range of journey's that human bodies have experienced.
The artist's inclusivity is a welcome reprieve, and acknowledges that all shapes, sizes and differences are worthy of being transformed into art.
